Ingredients

  • 450g Ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 Cheddar cheese slices
  • 2 Hamburger buns
  • 2 leaves Lettuce
  • 2 slices Tomato, sliced
  • 2 slices Onion, sliced
  • to taste Ketchup and Mustard
  • to taste Salt and pepper

    Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form into patties, slightly larger than the buns.

    Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.

    Heat a skillet or grill to medium-high heat.

    Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

    During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.

    Lightly toast the hamburger buns.

    Assemble the burgers: place a patty on the bottom bun, then add lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments.
